A Gift for Jennie

My sweet sister and hubby have completed their move from the southern Illinois area where we grew up around Belleville, to the state capital, Springfield Illinois, which is very centrally located. This is an exciting adventure for them since they are now quite a ways from any family. I remember when Larry & I moved to Texas, how exciting and fun it was to be together away from family and familiar surroundings. Discovering new things in new places. I made this little fall pin keep for her since Fall is also her favorite time of year and then did a quick card this morning to send along with it. I really enjoy the opportunity to combine my two favorite creative activities card making and counted cross stitch. I made myself a second pin keep so that we will both have one and can send blessings and well wishes along the way when we look at it. Wishing you well Jen!
