Not every valentine has to be PINK! So with that in mind here’s a great Valentine for that sweet hubby or special boyfriend!
If you’re like me, you have lots of pieces of Designer Series Paper from previous idea books just waiting to be useful, and since you only need a piece that’s about 3 3/4 x 4 3/4 you’re bound to have one that’s appropriate. This card uses a piece from the Hawaii Papaya Paper Pack (featured in the 2008 Fall-Winter Idea Book & Catalog. ) Since it coordinates with the still current In Colors it has been teamed with the Tangerine Tango and the Kiwi Kiss on a Chocolate Chip, standard size, cardstock base. Stamp sets used were the Tres Chic background stamp with the A Happy Heart Stamp Set Other elements used in this card are the Photo Corners punch, the Piercing Tool from our wonderfully versatile Crafter’s Tool Kit, Vintage brads, and the beautiful 5/8″ Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon.
This is so nice Katherine! I was trying to use up all my Hawaiian Papaya just today! I made a bunch of simple cards with Bible verses for a gift project and also for a door prize at our Women’s Retreat…….have a great day!
