Here Comes the Bride…

2009-here-comes-bride
I’ve been wanting to do something with my pack of Carousel Notes(heaven know’s how long I’ve had them!) Anyway, I decided to use them for a bridal shower for my darling neice. As luck would have it I accidentally stumbled upon a retired set that I just love called “She’s All That”. The set contains four lovely silouhettes of a young lady having varioius themes, one being a bride. This was definitely ‘thinking outside the box’ for me in combining ovals and circles but I think it worked out OK. I used a double eyelet and brad swivel at the top right for interest and I really like how that works. You place an eyelet in each piece with wrong sides together and connect them with one of our small brads and it works really well and smooth without any tension on the cardstock. The ends of the brad fold over the opposing rim of the eyelet really well by using the blunt end of the piercing stylus from our Crafter’s Tool Kit to smooth them down.2009-here-comes-bride-flipp

Now that I’ve accomplished creating a card using my Carousel Notes I’m excited to use them more often!
