I am a SAHM mother of four fantastic young men, wife of 28+ years who is a committed stamp collector and scrapbook enthusiast, SU demonstrator going on 3 1/2 yrs, (previous customer of 6 years), homeschool mom to our three younger sons having graduated two with one who has a couple of years to go. I help manage our 200AC and 90 AC ranch properties, and in my spare time function as bookkeeper/secretary for my dear sweet hubby.
The Lord has blessed me with such a wonderful life. I have done many things over the course of time, and have always enjoyed doing crafts of all sorts from quilting, crocheting, embroidery, counted cross stitch, have sewn my own clothes (in a previous life time), amateur home decorator and terrible gardener…you can’t be good at everything!
But what gives me great pleasure, at this particular juncture, is being able to share this craft that I love with others. Whether it is creating a great scrapbook layout to record precious family moments or a beautiful card to express your appreciation and love for someone. Inspiring and sustaining inter-personal relationships is so very important for a life well lived. To have the opportunity to touch others lives in positive ways is immensly satisfying and joyful.
That is why I have taken my scrapbook adventure a step further in opening up My Bluebonnet Cottage intimate retreat center. There are lots of lovely places to take large groups of anywhere from 15-25 people and even more. But, very few that will accomodate a small group in a private venue such as I am offering. It is my hope that through the use of this property women of all ages and family backgrounds will come together and share their lives with their friends and loved ones.
