What can you do with these great papers?  Here are a couple of examples that we made at Katherine’s Stampin’ FUN Club earlier this month:

This  lovely 6 x 6 Scrapbook layout that can easily be converted to any size that fits your need.  I paired the gorgeous Paisley Prints Designer Series Paper with the scrolled open frame image from the Stampin’ UP! Four Frames Stamp Set (that perfectly fits the Decorative Label Punch) and the Stampin’ UP! Eyelet Border Punch.

Along with this beautiful scrapbook layout Katherine’s Stampin’ Fun Club members also created this great card:

Club membership is EASY!  You simply purchase $15 in merchandise from the current Stampin’ UP! Idea Book & Catalog, or whatever the current Mini Catalog happens to be.

The great  Hostess rewards are rotated month to month, and you don’t even have to be in attendance to get the current month’s projects!  They’ll be delivered with your order in kit form for you to assemble at home.  It’s THAT EASY! There’s still available spots in both my morning & evening clubs so give me a call today and reserve your spot!

Our next Katherine’s Stampin’ FUN Club will be on Tuesday September 20th, so come join us!

I hope you’ve got a great week ahead!

Blessings!

STAMPIN’ UP! Wedding Bells

Our oldest son Jack, married his beautiful fiancee’ Emily on August 6th, and of course I  had to create something very special to help them celebrate their day!

Her dress was a gorgeous lace figure slimming sheath that was just breathtaking.  So I tried to create a ribbon of paper lace that was reminiscent of that feeling.  I used  Stampin’ UP! Very Vanilla card stock because her dress was an off-white; not as vanilla flavored as the deep color in the Very Vanilla but I tried it using the Stampin’ UP! Whisper White card stock and it didn’t have the same feel.  It was also very pretty, but not as much as the Very Vanilla version did.

Scrunching a length of the Stampin’ UP! Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon I formed a rosette and embellished it further with a large ivory half pearl from the retired Stampin’ UP! Pretties Kit.

For the sentiment I wanted to keep it minimal, so I chose the “For the Newlyweds” image from the Stampin’ UP! Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set.

Elements used for this project:

Stampin’ UP! Punches: Lace Ribbon Border Punch #122362, $19.95

Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402, $15.95

Eyelet Border Punch #119853, $15.95

Scallop Edge Border Punch #119882, $15.95

Scallop Oval Punch #119856, 16.95

Stampin’ UP! Soft Suede card stock and Classic Stampin’ Ink.

I apologize for the unusual sepia tone to the pictures, I’m not quite sure what happened, because I didn’t do anything unusual when I was taking them other than it was in a different room than I normally use and has fluorescent light rather than the incandescent light of the kitchen.  I was in such a hurry to get it mailed off, I didn’t think I needed to check the pictures before sending it!

Thanks for stopping by to see what I’ve been up to!  I have another wedding card for my niece from this past weekend that I’ll post later in the week!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

At Home with Stampin’ UP!

Building a special one-of-a-kind new home for your family is a very rewarding and unique experience.  And nothing says Welcome like a one-of-a-kind Happy New Home Card from Stampin’ UP!

With the help of a Stampin’ UP! Patterns Pack, I put together this great summer breezy card accenting the great colors you would find in orange sherbert or a refreshing shaved ice treat from your local snow cone vendor.  Actually the lucious colors are Stampin’ UP! Peach Parfait and  Pool Party.

In the Stampin’ UP! Patterns Packs you get identical double sheets so I cut the pattern pieces I wanted to layer out of one sheet and using Stampin’ Dimensionals I adhered them over their counterparts on the second sheet.  I cut out a couple of opposing clouds to give added dimension to the sky. This duplicate layering technique is used with stamping images as well and is a great affect for your projects.

I elected to not include the two tiny chimneys in my raised layer because I think they  look perfectly fine in the background, like many chimneys are on your home.  It gives them the appearance of rising out of the roof rather tha  Then being a part of it.

A simple square knot with a piece of 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon ties things up nicely.  A simple sentiment and it’s ready to go!

Stampin’ UP! is so much more than just great, high quality rubber stamps!  Their full line of accessories, elements and decorative themed suites can take you from the simplest hand made one-of-a-kind card to a fabulous inspirational creation.    I would love the opportunity to help you save money on your projects or perhaps to help you earn some extra cash on the side.  Becoming a Stampin’ UP! Demonstrator has been one of the most amazing and rewarding experiences I’ve ever done and I would love to share that experience with you.  Give me a call or drop me a note and we can get you signed up right away.  Sign up here: www.katherinepritchard.stampinup.net

Thankfully Celebrating Stampin’ UP!

What a delightful way to say Thanks with the new Stampin’ UP! Petite Pennants Builder Punch and the bright colors of Stampin’ UP!!

I used one of our Stampin’ UP! Patterns Packs of 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper on my card project to help it come together quickly.  They are one of those design elements that help set your creations apart and since they have coordinating colors and hues with patterns on both sides it makes a card project like this fast and easy fun!

I incorporated a sheet of alphabet ready-to-punch letters I created with Stampin’ UP! My Digital Studio. I would love to set up a time to show you just how easy it is to use the Stampin’ UP! My Digital Studio Suite and what a great adjunct it can be for all of your projects, just give me a call and we’ll set up a time to get together!

I used the Stampin’ UP! bright and sunny Daffodil Delight for the card base and the Black Lace is a piece of leftover from the Stampin’ UP! 2010 Holiday Mini Spooky Halloween Suite of elements and I am so glad that I still have plenty to use!

Speaking of which, September 1 will be here before you know it and with it comes the release of the 2011 Stampin’ UP! Holiday Mini.  It was rolled out for us at convention a couple of weeks ago and I can’t wait to share it with you!   The creative folks at Stampin’ UP! have put together another wonderful publication full of special edition stamp sets and decorative items for the coming holiday season that are sure to excite and WOW you!  If you are not currently on my mailing list you will want to sign up quick so I can get it mailed directly to you; just drop me a note with your mailing address and look for it in your mailbox soon!

I hope, as July passes into August, that you have had a wonderful Summer Season this year and that you will cherish this year’s memories for many years to come.  Everyday matters, so make the most of it with your loved ones and family.

Thanks for taking time to stop by and catch up!
