Stampin’ UP! Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps

Who says Stamping is just for paper?  Imagine stamping on cookie dough…

(Occasions #127081 $16.95 pg 40 of the 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog.)

In the 2012 Occasions Mini Stampin’ UP! has introduced a new set of the Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps.  So smart for the upcoming holidays!

I used the current set for my Customer Appreciation Party Favors last month…

They are very quick and easy to prepare and as you see, make a lovely presentation.  Whether you pack them in a cello bag or one of the Stampin’ UP! Kraft Gift Boxes (2012 Occasions Mini Catalog pg 40, #124106 $2.95 for 3 boxes), they make great teacher appreciation gifts or party treats.

Stampin’ UP! Leadership Shares

I am so excited I can hardly sleep tonight!( I’m writing this Monday evening to post for Wednesday after we’ve had our goodie exchange.)

I’m all packed and ready to travel down to San Antonio, TX for my first trip to Stampin UP! Leadership Conference.  WOO HOO! Here we go…

I created these CD Calendars for my Stampin UP Convention Peeps:

The calendar is displayed in an Ultra thin clear CD case that you can pick-up just about anywhere. It is too thin to store the extra pages so you have to keep them tucked away nearby.  The alternative was a larger case, but they do not ‘hyper extend’ and your calendar is not as nice to look at sticking straight up at attention!

I love using My Digital Studio for these projects. It’s so flexible and the finished result is very professional looking.

You have the option of printing on a variety of mediums when you have decent printer.  I bought an HP 7500A Extra Wide printer on Black Friday after Thanksgiving.  An early Christmas present to myself.  I can print 12 x 12 scrapbook pages as well as print to it from in iPad2.  It was a great buy and I highly recommend it if you’re in the market for one.

I used HP Glossy Brochure paper for these and printed two to a page all the way to the edge with the advanced settings in My Digital Studio.

The pages measure 4 3/4  x  5.

I can’t to share all the exciting things we’ll be enjoying at Leadership so check back with me this weekend.

See you then! Katherine

Ho, Ho, Hope you had a Merry Christmas!

I sincerely hope you experienced a most joyous Christmas!

Christmastime can be a very special ending of the year, but it can also be quite a disconcerting time as well for many folks. Having lost close family members this year and experiencing my brothers continuing battle against cancer has made this holiday a particular sobering one for sure.

I wanted to keep our family Christmas card focused on the true meaning of Christmas this year.   Drawing back into my collection of Stampin’ UP! images, the one that kept coming back over and over again was the Stampin’ UP! Holy Triptych  Stamp Set from several years past.

Using all three images on fold out panels makes this ‘unconventional’ Stampin’ UP! Christmas Card a mini vignette for family & friends to enjoy.

I included our brief family update letter along with a snapshot of the family from our August wedding of eldest son, Jack and his lovely bride Emily to make our Christmas greeting complete.

If you have any questions or would like more of the details about this project drop me a quick note and I’ll be happy to fill you in on the particulars.

Merry Christmas everyone, thanks for stopping by!

Katherine

Stampin’ UP! Birthday Wishes

Nothing gets the ‘juices’ flowing for my sweet hubby like admiring an old pickup. . .

The Stampin’ UP! Loads of Love Stamp Set fills the bill nicely and teamed with the man’s best friends image from our Loads of Love Accessories Stamp Set, my card is complete.

How easy is that?  Your masculine cards will  be better and easier if you keep a minimalist design approach.

The Birthday Greeting is a tad ‘off kilter’ . . . as  would be appropriate for my darling man since he is too! :)   Placing the greeting on a pair of Stampin’ UP! Extra Large and Large Tag punches makes this card all the more easier.  It doesn’t take all morning to create a great card!

Other Stampin’ UP! supplies:

Linen Thread, Large Pewter Grommets (sorry, they’ve been discontinued for the time being :( , and two scraps of Stampin’ UP! Designer Series Paper on a Whisper White panel on a Going Gray card stock standard size card.  Stampin’ Write Markers were used to color the focal image of the card.

Lots of folks, like myself and my dear husband, have birthday’s around and during the holiday season.  Making a card to celebrate their special day will help them feel appreciated and remembered.

I hope you are able to enjoy your family’s change of pace this month while s pending time together in celebrating the birth of our LORD!

Merry Christmas!  Katherine
